The introductory offer

Hi,

Thanks again for your support in making 'An Art Adventure' happen. The plans for distribution are being finalised, and I am hoping to get a copy in my own hands very soon. The bookplate sketches are completed, and the prints signed, so hopefully not too much longer before they are on their way out to you all.

Meantime I want to tell you about my just launched Patreon page:

https://www.patreon.com/RalphHorsley

Through this page I intend to share videos about my process, create new artwork, offer signed prints and downloads to Patrons.

The first twenty patrons will get a special introductory gift bundle of my Wildborn book, signed prints and a signed postcard. I'll be making an announcement through my social media shortly, but you are the first to hear about it, and I wanted to give you the opportunity to take advantage of this offer.

Thanks,

Ralph

Printing is complete!
over 2 years ago – Wed, Nov 03, 2021 at 02:19:23 PM

Hello!

Today we received photos from our friends in Germany who are handling our EU warehousing needs. The books have arrived! They look awesome, and we're very excited to both see them in the flesh and get to work sending them out to you.

We'll be locking your delivery addresses this week, and I'll have more info on that when the time comes - it's all very straight forward, and now is a good time to go check your backerkit account and make sure your shipping details are correct!

Exciting times!

October Update - Printing continues
over 2 years ago – Mon, Oct 18, 2021 at 04:29:04 AM

Hello!

A very quick update for you this month - the Art Adventure books are printing right now, with an estimated 7 to 8 week turnaround time. We're just about bang in the middle of that period, so it's the eye of the storm for everyone - there's not much to say beyond the presses are rolling, but rolling they are!

We'll be in touch as soon as there's more to report!

Thanks again for all your support!

August Update - We're at print!
over 2 years ago – Wed, Sep 01, 2021 at 01:39:56 AM

Hello - update time, right on the last day of the month!

We're at print! The completed print files have been uploaded to our printer this week, who is checking them over right now.

They're anticipating 7 weeks to print all the books, and it'll take a few weeks beyond that to move them around. As you may have read now is not an idea time to be shipping anything anywhere, but we're hopeful that the networks we've set up should stand us in good stead - we're printing in the EU, and we don't have toooo many books to send, so we shouldn't get caught up in the problems folks are having with containers and the like. Fingers crossed!

We'll let you know more about progress through the print process as it occurs!

Thanks again for all your support!

Important: Pledge manager closes 3rd August
almost 3 years ago – Tue, Jul 27, 2021 at 06:51:51 PM

Hello!

It's a very business-like update today.

Important news: we will be closing the pledge manager and charging cards in one week’s time.

On Tuesday the 3rd of August we will be locking orders and charging your cards.

For most of you there’s nothing to pay, and nothing extra will be charged. You’ve already paid shipping as part of the campaign. You may want to update your address if that's needed.

But here is your seven day notice if you have added anything on, it’ll be charged on August 3rd.

Thank you!

Project progress

The book is complete! We’re finishing up the index which gives you some extra information about each piece, we’ll spend some time proofing, and then it’s off to print!

Beyond that, fair warnging that international shipping is in a world of turmoil right now, but we have plans in place to do our best to overcome any issues arising. I rather suspect we'll see some delays in getting books across the Pond, but we're already working on minimising that. And of course we'll keep you in the loop!

Thanks as ever for your support!
